Tokapu is a beautiful large white alpaca with the dense fleece you would expect from a Royal Fawn Granddaughter. She is an excellent Mom with plenty of milk and she has produced several exceptional crias. Her own Mom is still producing at 16 years old! In 2007 she easily delivered a beautiful beige boy out of Accoyo Express who weighed 19.5 pounds at birth. She is calm and polite, but because of her size can be a little hard to handle until she trusts you. She is very loving and attentive to her babies, but has allowed me to handle her babies without a fuss. You truly have to see this animal to appreciate her presence. Since her boy from Accoyo Express is so beautiful I decided to breed her to my Express son Pilgrim. She has always been bred to light colored males in the past so I wanted to see if she could produce the same awesome fleece qualities in color. I was not disappointed. In May she delivered a spectacular dark fawn girl, with deeply crimped fiber and a very soft hand
Oh my gosh! Pilgrim's first baby was just born and I am beyond happy with the result. A 20 pound baby girl with dark fawn fleece that is just about the crimpiest I have seen on a newborn. Her Mom is getting very tired of me playing in her little curls. I will post pictures of her beautiful little self very soon. Come see this baby and book a breeding to her papa now, before the price goes up.
Don't miss this chance to add a rare Accoyo bloodline (his daddy is currently being offered for sale at $1,000,000) and color genetics to your herd! Pilgrim is looking for a girl. His perfect mate needs to improve her conformation and coverage, but she should have good character (in her fiber, of course!). At the 2007 TxOLAN show judge Charlene Friedman said he moved well, with a correct bite and conformation, but that his staple length weight pulled the character out of his fleece. When you look at his incredible coverage and staple length that doesn't seem like a bad fault to
Panache has grown into a lovely young lady, despite the fact that she spent every waking moment in the sprinkler this summer and her fiber is just now growing back on her legs! I intend to breed her to Rockford this spring. With the gray in her background, that combination is sure to be a winner. Panache is the first cria out of my Express son, Pilgrim. She doesn't disappoint in any respect. Her crimp was evident on her first day and her legs are straight and she is growing fast! She is a beautiful golden fawn, with long golden eyelashes to match. Her Mom is a great Mom and easy birther and breeder and I expect Panache to follow in her footsteps. This price includes her first two breedings when she is ready, and one year free board. Her personality is a bit shy, but she has been easy to halter train and handle. This is a great price on a full Peruvian girl, with Royal Fawn and Express Accoyo bloodlines. I was so happy with her that I repeated the breeding and got a medium fawn male that is just as beautiful. Those great genetics always show!
