Jax Accoyo Kalvin is the son of the late CPeruvian Accoyo Jackpot. A very proud stately male that is perfectly conformed. Kalvin is covered from head to toe with a small pearlized lock that glistens in the sun. Kalvin has inherited his sires ability to let color through. This is very rare when breeding Full Accoyos. In his first full year of breeding Kalvin sired 6 very high quality offspring all which captured ribbons. To date these juveniles have 4 Championships, 3 Reserve Championships and several first and second place ribbons. At the 2005 Buckeye the first three Kalvin offspring born finish 2nd in the Get Of Sire class The newest class of crias started showing at the Kentucky Classic with Jaguar (US Alpacas) taking a first in the Juvenile Dark Brown Male class. PW is 1/2 Accoyo and has a True Maroon Dam -- we are excited about what this girl brings to the breeding program!
Prairie's first cria, Prima was born in July 2008 out of Sundance - a half Accoyo fawn Gunsmoke son! With PW's Dam having multiple Maroon, Gray and Black offspring, we hoped for color. Well, Prima is a lovely light to medium fawn with a light silver gray face and rose gray highlights in her blanket. Prima has very nice penciled locks, an adorable head and is a farm favorite. Prairie is currently bred to a true black 1/2 Accoyo MacGyver son, Bogangles. This guy is gorgeous. Their offspring will also be 1/2 Accoyo and it is coming from both sides. The potential for a dark superb offspring is high.
6-25: PW had a striking True Black half-Accoyo male cria today. The little guy was up in a half-hour and was nursing within an hour! In fact, he has been nursing constantly.
Prairie is a great mom with plenty of milk. Prairie has demonstated her ability to throw color and great accoyo locks. She is a great foundation girl for those breeding for quality in color. She is almost 4 years old meaning that this proven dam has a decade or more of production ahead of her.
