Medium Silver Grey, 822412, 1/4 Chilean, 3/4 Peruvian
Teardrop has a famous sire, Silvino, who is listed as rose grey, but Magical Farms' says that he is really pink! Now about 14 years old, we always try to get a Silvino breeding when we go to Magical. Teardrop has thrown dark silver grey and black cria. She is bred to our 2006 AOBA Color Champion grey herdsire-Saracen- for a March 15, 2009 cria. Saracen has thrown some beauties, and we hope this will be another one, due in just a couple of months.
Lysette is a lovely, gregarious grey girl who loves attention (in fact, she demands it)! Having two of Magical Farm's top grey herdsires in her bloodline is very rare. Silvio and Silvino, both original Peruvian imports from the mid-1990's, are on opposite sides of her family tree. Both of these grey males have a long legacy of beautiful offspring.
We were offered $30,000 for her in 2004 after she won a Blue Ribbon at the ultra-competitive 2004 Kentucky Classic. She was bred to MFI Peruvian Lethal Weapon in January, one of ours and Magical Farms top herdsires. Weapon has thrown some awesome cria and throws grey as well. We just had a beautiful grey boy born to her early in February.
