Anais is another blue ribbon winning full Peruvian member of our foundation herd and is a proven producer with 4 championship crias out of 6 crias born so far! Her fleece coverage extends to her toes and has high frequency crimp with great brightness, wonderfully long held low micron, and good density.
Her 2005 cria, Earl Grey, Lord of the Roses, is a multiple champion son out of MFI Silvio. He now has cria hitting the ground. Her 2007 cria, Renfarms' Joe Louis has won 20 ribbons, including a reserve color championship, so far in his show career, and has such stellar traits that it was a no-brainer to add him to our herdsire row. Anais's micron at the age of 8 years old was 23.7. Her 2008 cria, Charlene P Atlas (Penny) has placed in every show we attended in 2009, bringing home 12 ribbons, including a color championship.
At the age of 9, and after having 6 crias, Anais still has a micron count of 24.1, excellent for an older dark brown animal. She has excellent confor
Charles P. has won four Get of Sire classes in 2008. The most interesting fact is that we have not used the same animals at each show.
We are not disappointed with the cria that Charles P. is producing, they are getting better with each birth. Charles has an outstanding girl/boy ratio for 2007 and 2008. They all have that "eye catching" appeal, with very typey huacaya heads, and in all colors. We are also pleased to announce that many of these cria are now show age and winning their own blue ribbons and banners. Come See For Yourself!
You only have to take one look at his face and you fall in love with this herd sire. Charles has it all: long staple, wonderful hand, excellent conformation and bite, brightness and personality. If that isn't enough, take a look at his genetics! Another Quetzal offspring with full coverage, Quetzal's outstanding head, and outstanding fleece.
Charles P. is co-owned with Whistler's Glen Alpacas.
Charlene P. Atlas, or as we call her around the farm by her middle name - Penny, is a sweet & friendly full Peruvian girl, with extreme brightness in her fleece. She has extremely dense, well bundled crimp which is consistent in color and character from the top of her head to the bottom of her legs. She not only has a great architecture and density to her fiber, but her dark brown mom, Anais, was still holding a 23.0 micron (baby grade!) fiber at the age of 10, after having had 6 crias. All of Anais' previous crias are manifesting the same predisposition to maintain low micron over time.
In addition to her dynamic fleece traits, Penny is conformationally flawless with an upright posture, straight topline & very large bone!
Penny also seems to have received plenty of quality from her sire, Charles P. Atlas, courtesy of his father - Quetzal, a prominent Magical Farms herdsire.
Penny was a consistent ribbon winner, taking 12 ribbons at the events she was shown at, including a color championship!
Penny's 2011 cria, Nina, from her breeding to Champion Lilly's Accoyo Dupioni, hit the ground in June and was a wonderful looking light fawn girl with marvelous dense, crimpy fleece!
Penny was rebred to Benchmark's Peru Aztec by Avatar, winner of 5 blues and a Reserve Color Championship. Her 2012 cria arrived at the end of July, and is a very impressive dark fawn girl, whose crimp and density were evident even while still wet from being born! This girl has a bright future ahead in the show ring.
Penny was bred this fall to the magnificent MFI Juxtaposition, winner of multiple Championships and 8 blue ribbons, who has flawless conformation, and an extremely dense and fine fleece. Jux has thrown numerous top ribbon-winning offspring. The resulting 2013 cria should be a champion cria from these 2 champion parents!
Don't miss your chance to purchase Penny, her upcoming MFI Juxtaposition cria plus a free breeding to one of our stellar champion herdsires!
