| | | Orchid is a lovely true black, 1/2 Peruvian proven female. Orchid's sire, Royal Black Condor is a rare Peruvian True Black, her dam a Chilean Silver Gray. Orchid has a medium sized frame and excellent conformation. Her black fleece has incredible luster, with impressive consistency and crimp. We are happy to say that Orchid has crossed over from 'maidenhood' to 'proven' status and WOW- did she prove herself! In June, Orchid delivered a healthy cria, TGF Diesel , sired by Legacy Gold. The Munro's liked Diesel so much, Orchid was bred back to LG and gave us another outstanding boy, AITH's Legacy Gold's Dark Knight (bay black). Like her dam, Orchid has been a great mom and milker. We will soon be breeding her to Snowmass Challenger.

He is the only two-time, double Futurity Breed Champion in the U.S. A herd sire of incredible stature and excellence, his list of award winning offspring is huge and proof of his capacity to excel any huacaya breeding program . Legacy Gold will be bred outside a maximum of 7 times in 2008: 5 of those breeding will be offered to existing clients of CCNF and/or Tripping Gnome Farm at a rate of $7,500/service, the remaining 2 will be offered to the alpaca community at large at a rate of $10,000/service. We are taking deposits for reserved breedings. His availability for outside service will be evaluated on a year by year basis.

Dark Knight is a bay black cria out of the infamous Snowmass Legacy Gold. One of the few color males up and coming due to Legacy Gold being focused on light and white genetics. We are very pleased to have these genetics down in the South. Dark Knight carries a luster that is very bright, his fiber also posesses great density. His phenotype is the typical LG head with a large frame. He is almost ready to start his breeding career. He would definetly add superior color genetics to any herd.
