CPeruvian Leah

White, 806536, Full Peruvian

CPeruvian Leah was a tall, phenotypical white suri female. When Leraso Farm Alpacas had the first pick in the 1998 Canadian Import, she was one of the few chosen. Leah had extremely fine fiber with some very low micron counts.

She consistently produced excellent white suri offspring with the same low micron counts. Her cria, LFA Peuvian Lizzy, was lot #4 at the 2003 Peruvian Classic. She sold for $22,000 and took the Reserve Color Champion at the Great Midwestern Alpaca Fest and fourth at AOBA 2003. Her next cria was CHAI Cirrus. She took multiple championships. In fact, Cirrus was the AOBA 2004 National White Female Reserve Champion. Her daughter, Peruvian Dalila, has a micron count of 17.5.

This beautiful guy comes from a Dam who carries low microns even as a very mature adult and his Sire was the 2006 AOBA National Show White Color Champion.

Judge David Friedman said he had the finest fleece and best luster in the class at the GMAF in April 2009 and said he was a little small, since he was in the lower half of the class in age that's kind of expected. As he is approaching 2 years of age he has filled out and gained some size. He is a very nice looking stud! His Dam has an adult micron of "17". Full breeding rights at this price.

Avelanche took 3rd at the Interstate 80 Alpacafest after arriving late at night soaking wet because of driving through heavy rains and wind. His fleece was matted and cotted because of the wind and rain and it hurt him in the show ring.

After his first cria was born, the owner said it's fleece is gorgeous and over 2 inches in length at birth.
