| | | Lily is a beautiful female with a very lustrous and soft white fleece. In addition, her fleece has an abundance of high frequency crimped bright staples of good density all over her large, straight frame. Shes picture perfect in every way and easy to approach. Once you get a hold of her you can feel the exquisite handle her fleece displays. To produce this dam we selected a breeding to K-2 to enhance Charitys (her mom) density, brightness and crimp. Sure enough those characteristics were indeed passed on to Lily as Mike Safely at Northwest Alpacas had predicted.
This past May Lily gave birth to a wonderfully crimpy, bright and fine female cria. Lily has been a good mother with plenty of milk and her cria, Opal, has grown substantially. | | | The STORM is arriving April 1 for his only East Coast performance so plan ahead. We have been thrilled with his 2007 cria (all female) and cant wait to see what beautiful criations hit the ground next spring. Ask us about drive-by and multiple breeding discounts.
Glacial Storm is a picture perfect example of his sire, Accoyos Augusto. His fleece is dense, bright, finely crimped and covers his perfect frame all the way to the ground. Glacial Storms micron count at 1 year of age was 18 and 20.5 at 2 years of age. In 2005, at age 4, his fleece analysis came back at: 20.90 , sd: 5.1 , cv: 24.5, >30: 3.1. In 2007 his fleece came in at 21.76 microns, sd: 4.65, cv: 21.38, %>30: 4.65 - outstanding for a six year old!! His Sire, PPperuvian Augusto's progeny have contributed well over 100 ribbons from 2000 to 2003.
His dam, a dark fawn Peruvian female has won 5 fleece shows over 3 years including the AOBA National Louisville (twice), MAPACA, AOBA National Portland and the 200 | |
