True Black, 829907, Full Chilean
| | | Onyx is as her name implies, a true black gem. She is a rare full chilean in our herd and has birthed all color cria in shades of gray, black and brown. Onyx has nice square hips ideal for birthing and strong, strait legs. Onyx is used anually for our yarn production because her fiber lays very smooth due to little deviation in her micron. Her cria exhibit impressive fiber coverage and bearded faces. Especially when paired with Chaos, we see excellent crimp and density. She has been bred to Phoenix this season, a fawn, full brother to Chaos (our Caligula line). We expect the same gorgeous results. | |

Medium Rose Grey, 814182, 1/4 Chilean, 3/4 Peruvian
| | | Shaquille joined Riverside Alpacas in October 2005 and we couldn't be prouder. His gentle personality make him a joy to work with and show off to farm visitors. Shaquille is the grandson of Accoyo Peruvian Leon on his dam's side. His father is none other than Quicksilver...what a combination.
Shaquille has set some high standards for outstanding gray fleece with crimp and density characteristics usually found in only light fleeces. Shaquille's show career has been nothing short of phenomenal! Some of his awards are listed in this section. But Shaquille has also proven that his offspring can follow in his footsteps with many taking multiple championships.
