Cloudberry is a proven mother with offspring of many colors on the ground, ranging from silver gray, rose gray, true black, bay black and white. We often joke that Cloudberry is trying to have a baby of each color! She's an easy birther and a great protective momma with plenty of milk. She has excellent conformation with amazing density and luster to her fleece. Black, gray and white are all in her established bloodlines.

Update! On August 17th Cloudberry delivered a healthy baby boy out of our very own Black Woods Polaris. Black Woods Master Chief weighed in at a whopping 23.2 #'s!! He's an incredible light fawn boy- nearly pink in color! He's an amazing young boy with a commanding presence.

Want to add some quality density to your herd? Polaris' 2008 shering weight was 9.6 lbs! He has extremely fine, dense, snow-white fleece on his solid frame with consistant, bold crimp and coverage from head to tail! All that and incredible bloodlines to boot! With Alitplano Gold and Royal Fawn from Mom's side and Dad is Tell Vaccoyo's Truimph. Polaris has all that as well as a sweet, calm personality that no farm visitor can resist!

Polaris' first offspring hit the ground on August 17, 2008. Master Cheif, a 23.4# boy out of our foundation female Cloudberry. Polaris passed on his boxy confirmation, solid bone, soft dense fiber as well as a unique mauve fawn color. We liked this mating so we repeated it for next year!!

Black Woods Master Chief was born on August 17th, 2008 out of our own Cloudberry and Black Woods Polaris(Polaris' first!) Master Chief weighed in at a whopping 23.2 #'s!! Thank goodness he came one day early! He's an incredible fawn/light rose gray boy- nearly pink in color! I've always joked about wanting a pink alpaca, well here he is!!

His fleece is silky and lusterous with amazing coverage, a soft handle and consistent crimp throughout! (I've been hand spinning his fleece and it is amazing!) He has very solid bone. Great personality as well! He's an amazing young boy with a commanding presence. His neck fiber has a very long staple length and maintains the same handle and crimp as his blanket fleece.

I hate to part with Master Chief, he is one of my favorites due to his easy going nature and his wonderful fiber, but we have no non related females to breed him to. He is of breeding age and could add bone, color, character and personality to your herd!
