Sunrise has affectionately gotten his nickname because of the head shape and crimpy bright fiber on his head. Cubby's half brother is our Royal Thunder who also exibits the oustanding fleece coverage and soft fine fiber that Cubby has. Cubby has the long staple legnth as well. We lost Cubby's dam in 2008 who was one of our top dams and had Johnson S112 as a sire who is now in Australia. Cubby's sire is lineage of the great Royal Fawn. Cubby has outstanding fine, soft fiber with great character. If you are looking for a fiber animal or simply looking to own alpacas for the peace and relaxation, Sunrise (Cubby) has the gentile demeanor you're looking for.
