GNLC Timpani
Medium Silver Grey, 1297591, Peruvian & Chilean
Timpani is one of the first girls visitors are drawn to when they come to our farm. She has a very nice presence and great fiber coverage on her face and legs. Her fleece is a beautiful silver-gray with black speckles and nice brightness. With four gray grandparents and gray going all the way back to her great-great grandparents, she has already produced a dark silver gray son, Bongo.
Timpani is a super mom with lots of milk and very attentive. (Timpani won several blue and red ribbons before retiring to motherhood.)
Oct08: Bongo, a dark silver grey yearling son of Excelsior, has just returned from the VAOBA Expo with a blue ribbon. Judge Wade Gease loved his conformation and fine fiber.
Every cria fathered by Excel is an exponential improvement over the quality of the dam! You must come by and see these incredible offspring.
3/3/08: All three of Excel's offspring that went to the Southern Select returned home with ribbons. You will want to breed to this consistent male.
3/18/07: Two of Excelsior's son's have just returned from the Virginia Classic in Lexington, VA with more ribbons! They were also members of the group we entered into the Breeder's Best Three where they were awarded first place. Judge Diana Timmerman praised the trio with comments such as the group had "ultra fine dense fiber", "consistent crimp throughout", "healthy and bright fleeces", and "perfect conformation".
Here is your chance to add the genetics of the incredible 4Peruvian Legacy 6016 to y
11/6/09: Today Bongo became a man and started breeding. We had to help a little, but he caught on fast. We will keep you posted on the results.
This striking dark silver grey yearling just keeps getting better. He has beautiful bright, fine fiber and perfect conformation. Bongo also has the phenotypical head the judges look for. His 1st place ribbon at the VAOBA Alpaca Show last fall and this fall confirms our slightly prejudiced opinion that he is very nice indeed.
Bongo got a great start with dad, 4 Peruvian Legacy's Excelsior. Excelsior has thrown the color of the dam every time, and has stamped his crimpy, dense, and fine fleece characteristics and incredible conformation on these crias.
Mom, Timpani, is a true beauty. She won 2 firsts and 2 seconds in 2006 before retiring to motherhood. Timpani is also a supermom that is very attentive with tons of milk. These are important genes that we work to pass on in our breeding program at Morning Moon.
This junior herdsire will be ready to breed by spring 2010. We can't wait to see what his excellent genetics will add to the females he breeds. (He has a great disposition, too.)
Please call today to make an appointment to visit with and put your hands on Bongo. It will be worth your trip.
