Destiny's Peruvian Pearl

Beige, 1070248, Full Peruvian

Like her name, Pearl is a cool, hidden jewel at Tuckaway Farm. From her quiet dignity, to her award winning fleece, to her great conformation, this girl has it all. Her crimped and bundled fleece scored an incredible micron count of 17.3 with a comfort factor of 100% and is maintaining a low count as she matures.

Pearl's full sister took a blue ribbon in the 2003 Nationals. Another sister, from the same dam, took a 1st at the 2004 Nationals.

Pearl's first cria, Tuckaway's Spunky Amanda OTB, is another gorgeous brown-eared beige girl like her mother, full Peruvian and half Accoyo. Her second cria is an outstanding brown who's name, Arcani, states that he is "destined for greatness."

Pearl's ultrasound confirms she is pregnant by our champion, half-accoyo herdsire, Destiny's Grand Cayman. Her cria is expected in December.

  Destiny's Grand Cayman
    White, 1426403, 1/4 Chilean, 3/4 Peruvian

Wow! Look at that brightness! Cayman boasts a brilliant white fleece, full of crimp and soft as a snowfall, an obvious influence from his full Accoyo sire. He overwhelmed the judges at the 2006 Southern Select, bringing home four awards for fleece including Color Champion and the Best of Show awards for brightness and handle. His fleece at one year had an incredible 15.1 micron count with a 100% comfort factor.

Cayman is also the sweetest male on our farm, always greeting us at the gate for a rub on the nose. He's the one we reach for time again when visitors want to hug an alpaca.

This young herdsire can get the job done. He settled his first female in seven minutes! He now has two of our females pregnant and is ready for more.

We could have named her Bouncing Bubbles now that we've seen this little girl leaping and floating around the pastures. Eruvia has the sweet, inquisitive nature that we strive for in all our alpacas and always rushes up for a quick kiss when someone appears. She loves to have her chest scratched.

Eruvia's soft, tightly crimped fleece is just what we expected from Pearl and Cayman. She's everything you look for in one adorable package.

Ruvie is ready to take her place as an official greeter on your farm. Her price includes breeding.
