Bianca is blinding white. She was probably the most difficult alpaca to halter train. The first time we tried to walk her away from the pasture, she put on the brakes at the gate, laid down, and would not budge. I finally gave up, tied her to the gate, and returned to barn chores. She finally did stand up, and I untied her for the return to the barn. Weeks passed, and she did not improve. We considered going to the show without her, but our mentors said we should try taking her. They thought that she might do better when she saw all the other alpacas at the show. The moment she left the van, she began walking like a very well-behaved princes.And would you believe-she won color champion! Bianca is a winner!

She was bred to Hummingherd's Concerto on June 13th. Concerto is full Peruvian and 100% Snowmass genetics. This cria has the potential to be a champion.

She had a baby boy May 27, 2012. We named him Benedict, and he is blinding white, just like his mother. He is gaining weight about 1#/day, and is showing interest in grain,too. He enjoys playing and running.
