57 Championships - AOBA Nationals, shows at every level - that is what his get have done! 67% of his shown get have won Championships and/or blue ribbons - he is undoubtedly the BEST Black Herdsire in the USA! Black Epic puts out stunning uniformity of micron, color and type, fleece brightness and show-stopping style in his crias - black, grey, brown and fawn!
Black Epic is big, black, beautiful and a truly outstanding black male, one of the country's best as confirmed by his unchallenged show record and the phenomenal winnings of his offspring. Black Epic is the record setting 7X Champion black huacaya.
The Queen is in her palace, and all are in awe of her beauty---and of all her cria! Candace is a true black female out of a stunning true black import dam, Dona Aparecida and a true black sire, Black Epic, who has Black Magic, and Klassique Grey (dark silver), in his background.
Candace showed beautifully, earning blue and red ribbons throughout her show career. She has an impressively fine fleece and lovely handle which she passes on to her cria. Dr. Norm Evans reported in Candace's 2007 skin biopsy results that she is definitely "the whole package" and "seed stock" because of her excellent follicular density and structure. She proves this time and again as she is producing gorgeous girls-- a rose grey (Gloria) and a true black (Gracie) and most recently (June 2010) another black --this time a bay male with black points and stunning fleece that shines and sparkles and is intensely crimpy and an almost greasy feel. An excellent protective mother, delivering her cria unassisted (even this year with Explorer birthing at 21.5 lbs!) and awesome milk producer (her cria's IGGs always have huge numbers), she has proven herself to be the complete package.
Candace's 2010 cria, Dark Explorer, out of our herdsire 7/8 Accoyo Grey Joules, is stunning. We will breed back to him in the future, but couldn't resist repeating the breeding with El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo this time --everybody just loves Gracie --judges, breeders, visitors... we can hardly wait to see who comes out!
