KPR BRIGITTE

Medium Brown, 807981 , Peruvian & Chilean

Her Sire Jacobb was a Medium Silver Gray. He was out of a Gray and a Black.
Her Dam Tessa is medium brown and is out of a true black Dam and medium fawn Sire Peruvian Pizarro( very well known male and ribbon winner). She brings a very colorful background with her.
COLORFUL genetics - Brigette's dark brown, almost black, colored fleece has a tremendous amount of grey. She has a white face with brown, black and grey markings. Her cria have been grey, brown, fawn. Brigette's 2008 cria is probably her most unigue. Leo, as his new owner named him, was born in March with fawn with grey spots - he looked like a leopard. In December, his fleece from skin to 1/2 inch from tip, was Medium Silver Grey!!!
Just beautiful.

Another Blue for Leo!
He took a Blue Ribbon in the 2010 Palmetto Alpaca Classic Spin Off! We got the sample of Leo's spun fiber back from the show. Wow! It is so nice I think I will have his fiber made into yarn this year it looked just sensational!

UPDATE! Leo has taken his first Blue Ribbon! The judge said he has superior fiber to the rest of the group. Wtg Leo!

One day I saw the most unusual colored alpaca ever, she was the most beautiful girl, and I couldn't get her out of my mind, but she was not for sale. That started my quest to find a harlequin gray/appaloosa alpaca to add to our herd. Leo is everything I could ask for and more. Just look at that face! He has beautiful soft crimpy fiber, unusual for a gray. His dad is none other than Magical Farms GIORGIO ARMANI. A multiple champion, and show winning producing herdsire. With the likes of MATEO S228, PPERUVIAN PLURO G4571 ,PPERUVIAN ASUNCION B4341, and
PERUVIAN PALOMO G230 how could Leo be any less than as beautiful as he is. Perfect conformation and bite, this boy is going to wow them in the show ring this spring. Leo is also 1/8 accoyo. Leo still has away to go before settling his first female, but I know EVERY cria he sires will be something very special. It will be hard to wait 350 days every year to see what each cria looks like.

Update! Leo took a 5th at the Indiana Invitational level 5 show. Judges comments were, great fiber, great conformation, was placed 5th for inconsistency of color. What makes Leo so beautiful and unusual, is also going to make him hard to show. We were very happy with the comments on fiber & conformation, those are really the important things.
Leo showed as a DRG in has last show and took a 1st! Maybe we found a color category he fits in finally.

Book our breedings to Leo for next fall or spring.
