Elisa is the daughter of Peruvian Dakotia who was killed in the contaminated feed incident in Ohio a few years ago. She has Dakotia, Bueno, and Chaparral bloodlines and is one of our best "moms" in the herd. She doesn't really like to be caught while she is pregnant but is pretty gentle in her overall disposition. She has very dense and crimpy fleece and produced two very nice female crias in 2004 (Miss Liberty Bell) and 2005 (Quizzie) and two very nice male crias in 2006 (Capt Morgan) and 2007 (King Triton). King Triton is a white male out of Diamond's Crown Jules (bloodlines include Caligula, Auzengate, Royal Fawn, and Augusto). King Triton also looks extremely strong at this early age. We are very proud to offer Nathaniel, an almost (15/16's) Full Peruvian herdsire out of Snowmass Invincible and Snowmass Highland Bell. He has 3 outstanding crias on the ground, 2 females and 1 male. The OFDA 2000 Fiber Report on him from his 2007 shearing is phenomenal. He has 3 crimps/cm and grows an average of 0.38 mm of fleece per day. His relaxed fiber length is 120 mm and stretched to 136. Fiber diameter is 20.8, SD 4.3, CV 20.8 and CF of 97.3. He has also done very well in the showring and we expect his crias to do the same. His sire, Snowmass Invincible, is either no longer offered or extremely expensive for outside breedings and Nathaniel is one of his first offspring available for breedings. He shears over 5 lbs of prime blanket fleece every year. This year was no exception--he sheared almost 5.5 lbs of blanket fleece and slightly over 11 lbs of total fleece in 2008.
