Chester impressed us when we first laid eyes on him, with his extremely dense, typey head, with the same density throughout the blanket, and beautiful crimp with high amplitude and frequency. His personality was also a good fit with the rest of our herdsires, as he is very gentle and easy to handle. His bloodlines on his sire's side go back to Pizarro and Pizarro's Goldrush, as well as Emilio. His dam's genetics include Senator Taft and Peruvian Cepa, another extremely dense animal with great fleece character. Chester's sire, Inca, has been producing consistently high density, high volume, crimpy fleeces. His first crias have arrived, and we are impressed with their staple length, crimp, and excellent density...and a head just like dad's.
