Elektra comes from our second year of crias and exhibits great staple length, high frequency crimp and brightness. Her conformation is right on with solid bone, great coverage and great bite. Elektra carries genetics from Vengador and her mom is a Peruvian import from the Alianza herd.
Elektra has delivered two females, the last cria a gorgeous fawn sired by Sunny Mesa's Tuscan Gold. Elektra has proven to be a fantastic mom: great milk production, easy delivery, nice weight crias (16+ lbs) and extremely attentive.
It wasn't an easy decision to move her to the sales list. She was always considered part of our foundation herd and with good reason, she has wonderful traits that will move any breeding program to that next generation of superior conformation and outstanding fiber.
Elektra sells without her cria and comes with free boarding until the cria is weaned - approximately April 2009.
Elektra is currently open but will sell with a breeding to any Tape
Tuscan Gold is setting a new standard of excellence. He is a complete package of perfect conformation, elite fleece characteristics with excellent bundling, brightness, fineness, crimp, uniformity & a superb hand. The brightness of his fleece rivals suri luster. He has total coverage of this fleece from his spectacular head to his toes. And does he have presence! He just knows he is something special. When we check his sheared fleece in at the shows, it invariably gathers admirers. This fleece has earned multiple championships & every specialty ribbon there is, Judge's Choice, Best Brightness, Best Hand, Best Crimp, etc.
Tuscan was chosen as the 2007/2008 breeding partner for multichampion females at such farms as Irish Meadows, The Alpaca Rosa & Pepper Pot Farms, including the one & only Misty Maiden, Dam of the Century, & several of her champion daughters. See these farm websites for details on these champion females and resulting crias.
Echo is one of the best little girls to hit our farm. In her very first showing at just a couple days over 6 months old she garnered 3rd place out of 14 entries at the very competitive Great Western Alpaca Show. What presence, fiber, brightness, coverage and bone. Her 1/2 sister sold for $20,000 at the 2009 AOBA Nationals at only 8 months of age.
Echo is a full peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo female with a stunningly bright fleece and an extremely soft, buttery handle. She's demonstrating uniformity of fineness throughout her blanket, into her shoulders, up her neck and down her legs.
Echo's dam has provided this girl a genetic history of easy births and lots of milk. Elektra's stellar conformation is also evident in Echo.
Of course, Echo's sire is no slouch. Multi-champion Sunny Mesa's Tuscan Gold is producing excellent, consistant progeny. Take a look at Tuscan's list of accomplishments and current progeny, it truly tells it all.
When Echo stepped into the show ring, she took her place with head held high and a presence that was just stunning. She carries that presence in the paddock every day. She knows she's something special.
Echo recently delivered a beautiful little boy, sired by Tapestry's Peruvian Ascent. With the recent loss of Ascent, this little dude is only a handful of cria that will reflect the legacy of Ascent. Currently the cria is not part of the purchase price.
Echo is currently open. A free breeding is included in the sale price and I would recommend our new herdsire - Mile High Peerless Bay - as an excellent match.
She sells with full reproductive guarantees.
