Serena has a reddish brown fiber that is so bright. Her sire, Presidio's Donato also has that brightness to his fleece as well. She has excellent density and very good bundling. Her AFD in 2010 was a 21 micron. Her sire Peruvian Donato, maintained a 23.8 micron at 8 years of age. This is the lingering fineness we all breed for. Serena has a full top knot and leg coverage to her front toes. Serena comes with a great pedigree with Caligula, Presidio, 4Peruvian Matador, Royal Fawn, Hemingway and PPeruvian Emilio genetics. Serena had a medium brown girl (Piper) in late September 2011 who made 2 show appearances in 2012 taking 2nd place at both shows in large classes. This girl has many productive years and as we have seen, puts quality offspring on the ground. For someone looking to start into alpacas, or someone looking to upgrade their herd, Serena is a real bargain. Serena would come with 2 breedings to any Oak Lawn Alpacas herdsire. One of these breeding's would be transferable. Any reasonable offer will be considered.
