Jewel was born on August 24th, 2006 to Katie, our Maroon/Dark Brown colored female. This fiery little girl was up, walking, and attempting to nurse within the hour...and running, kicking, and jumping within the first 24! She is already living up to her beautiful, yet somewhat fiesty name.
Jewel is a gorgeous full Peruvian female out of the outstanding SILVIO, FIRE-N-ICE, and CAMELOT lines. Her fleece is a rare, UNIFORM MEDIUM SILVER GREY that runs from the top of her typey head, down her neck, throughout her blanket area, and down into her legs...except for...could it be?...a dark rose grey spot on her back left and right legs! With her Dam's (Katie's) Maroon coloring, and her Sire's (Fire-n-Ice) Silver Grey coloring and heritage, it's a definite possibility.

| | | The Babe is in a league of his own! One of the few Full Accoyo Dark Med Fawns in the Country. When people get their hands on him, they comment about how is fleece is like getting lost in a bowl of butter. It is thick, rich and smooth.
We have the results of The Babe's first pairing. We bred him to a beautiful girl who has solid conformation and good staple, yet she needed crimp, density, coverage and top knot. That is a big order, but we were confident that The Babe could pull it off.
She was born fall of 2004 and what a beauty! Her name is Camille and at just 6 months old competed at the MOPACA show. Not only did she stand proudly at the top of her class, she went on to take the Color Champion for the light class. That was a win out of 35 animals!
The Babe also has an amazing Silver Gray boy on the ground named Tamerlane (see link below). This young male just took the Blue Ribbon at the Maryland Show - Spring 2006.

Platinum has a bold/macho presence but a pleasant disposition. He is absolutely gorgeous. His leg coverage is phenominal. His conformation is strong and his fleece has a soft buttery handle. This boy has awesome potential. He will be ready to breed in the spring of 2011. Someone is going to get a great deal with the purchase of this male. Platinum is a very nice male out of a 2X Reserve Champion Silver Grey Female, and Fawn Full Accoyo Camilio's Accoyo the Babe. His Medium Rose Grey fleece is very consistent, and very very fine boasting a 15 micron! His conformation is excellent with a good bite, straight lines, and macho stance. When we selected this breeding for his dam, Platinum is exactly (well...maybe even a bit better) the quality alpaca we were hoping to achieve through such a pairing.
Full Peruvian and half Accoyo, Platinum boasts a variety of marketable genetics including Fire-n-Ice, Camilio, Camilio's Accoyo the Babe, and Peruvian Camelot.
