|
| | | Contesa is a well built alpaca with good conformation, good body and leg coverage, crimp and gorgeous color. She is more maroon than your usual Medium Brown.
She can brag about her genetic background which displays Peruvian Drambuie, Peruvian Accoyo Capitan and PPeruvian Accoyo Camilio. Style and bold crimp of the Accoyo line mixed with the rich color from the Chilean influence.
Contesa just gave birth to Cutlass, a georgous Dark Brown boy with black tips. I have never felt this quality of density on a newborn before. Contesa has produced the best crias on our farm. She will be bred back to our award winning herdsire Quasar for a June 2010 cria.

| | | Quasar is the "Ideal Shaquille Son" out of a true black Silvio daughter. He is the total package -- great bone, with dense, crimpy, bright and FINE fiber. Quasar is co-owned with Starling Farms, in Ohio.
Quasar has never walked out of the ring without a ribbon. A Reserve Champion at 10 months old and the youngest in the class of 13, Judge Mike Safley stated that Quasar is "straight, dense and exceptionally fine with a difference of 6 microns from the next finest alpaca in the class. He even has crimp in his topknot." Quasar took 2nd place at the 2006 Southern Select, again the youngest in his class at 16 months. Judge Amanda VandenBosch stated that Quasar has "great style and a solid frame. His fiber is fine, dense, and has exceptional brightness and luster." At the 2006 Kentucky Classic, Quasar again took 2nd, standing between 2 Scimitar boys, and was the 2nd youngest in his class. Judge Mike Safley called Quasar the "ideal type -- very soft and fine, with high-frequency crimp

Cutlass stands straight and very tall and walks with confidence. Cutlass has strong bone, perfection in conformation, clean bite and a sweet personality to match.
Cutlass is stunning. He brings together the genetics of his Sire Quaser (MSG) 5Peruvian Quicksilver (MRG), PPeruvian Leon (MF), Shaquille (MRG), CPeruvian Silvio (MSG), the Dam side brings in the genetics of Peruvian Accoyo Capitan (LF), PPeruvian Camilio (MF), Peruvian Drambuie (BG), Creekwaters Romanoff (DF MSG TB)...wonderful bloodlines to add to your breeding program.
You really have to stand next to this guy to appreciate his size and see his solid color fiber.
Cutlass is ready to start his breeding career this Spring! We will breed him to select females this year but we have his Dad and would like to see him in someone's breeding program.
