Mysterial's Midnight Blue

Medium Silver Grey, 849429, 3/4 Chilean, 1/4 Peruvian

Blue, as well as being an exceptionally fleeced grey alpaca has now proven herself to be an exceptional producer of exceptional grey alpacas! She is descended from 2 great greys, Silverado and Yakutat. Her silver grey fiber is fine, dense, bundled with a high frequency crimp, very rarely found in a grey. Her blanket is solidly colored, no spots. Blue has very good bone and straight legs. She is exquisite! We purchased her from her co-owners, Erin McCarthy of Belleauwood Farms, and Magical Farms. Their assessment of Blue was that she was one of the best greys they have ever produced!Considering the greys that have been produced by these two farms, that's a big statement. She is definitely a top tier grey female!

Blue's first cria( Sept 27, 06) wass an exceptional dark silver grey girl!!!!!!!!!! Her name is Treasured Highlander's Dresden Doll. This little beauty is of the renowned lineage of Silverado, Shaquille, The Silversmith, Quicksilver, Fantasy's Gremlin and Accoyo Leon

Adora won the blue ribbon at her first show, the NJAS level III show. The judge, Wade Gease, said "she is given the blue ribbon due to the consistent fineness throughout her fleece, soft buttery handle, and nice straight lines front and back. This female also has a wonderful phenotype." Her 2010 histogram, 18.8 micron is listed below. Adora garnered a lot of attention from other breeders on the show grounds.

Adora is outstanding. From the moment she was on the ground you could see her curly crimpy fleece from head to toe. She has the gorgeous typey head and solid bone structure, and fleece that sets her apart from most greys.

Adora is one that catches your eye whether in the show ring or in the pasture. Her gorgeous head is densely covered and she stands with the presence of a champion. When you open Adora's fleece, she does not disappoint. Her fleece is bright, fine, and has a consistent high frequency crimp from the tip to the skin. Adora's lovely blue grey color is consistent from shoulder to hip on this classic girl. This blue ribbon winner has it all, which is not a surprise when you look at her great lineage that includes, Silverado, Shaquille, Accoyo Leon, Peruvian Quicksilver to name a few. She is a shining star!

Adora is sold but is listed as a reference for her full sibling Altair.
