| | | 2009 UPDATE: Light Fawn Female cria born 6/06/09 by Avalon's Peruvian Tri-Star
We purchased Adrienne from CODI at the 2003 Peruvian Classic Sale...and are we glad we did! Her first cria, Chasca, is an Inca's Ransom daughter who had one of the nicest fleeces in our 2004 cria production...AFD 16.3 (at 8 months).
In 2005 she delivered a beautiful, fawn female by Peruvian Lancaster, Avalon's Peruvian Adeline. This spunky, typey little girl has lovely fine fiber just like her big sister. And in 2006, Lancaster and Adrienne did it again...another fawn female, Avalon's Peruvian Abigail!
We held Adrienne open over the winter to move her to Spring/Summer breedings. In June, we bred her to our outstanding, white Blue Ribbon Winner, Avalon's Andiamo. Andiamo's fawn genetics inherited from his dam, Bethany, may well allow him to produce deep color with Adrienne. But, regardless of color, the outcome should be a high quality cria with fine, dense, crimpy fi

| | | UPDATE Tri-Star's 2008 crias are here and are outstanding. Look for them in the showring in 2009 OR, better yet, call for a farm visit and come see them in person!
Another winner from our Accoyo/Allianza cross female, Celeste, and our 1/2 Accoyo Royal Fawn son, Aristocrat. Tri-Star is the third in a line of color champions, and he carries on this proud tradition. Like his older brothers, Tri-Star's bright white fiber has a pleasing soft hand organized in crimpy bundles that cover him from topknot to toe. His typey, conformationally correct frame completes the picture, making him a "complete package".
At his first show, the 2004 GMAF, Tri-Star won the blue even though he had JUST turned 6 months old. And then, again, at the NIAE he took the blue as the youngest in the white yearling class. Judge Shannon McConnell stated that his balance & proportion were excellent & that his fiber was extremely bright and consistent in lock,

This pretty Tri-Star/Adrienne daughter is ready to breed, and a bargain at this price point. Her beige fiber is fine, bright, and crimpy. She has that feminine look that we love to see in our production females.
In her first show experience, Andromeda placed 3rd in a class of 8. During oral reasoning, Judge Amanda Vandenbosch said of Andromeda that she "appreciated her structure" and that she was "well developed." She went on further to mention that Andromeda had a fine fleece with a soft hand. Put these comments together and they certainly describe a girl who will make someone a nice foundation female.
As with all breeding quality females, Andromeda sells with her first breeding to any Avalon Farm herdsire of the buyer's choice.
Contact us today to arrange for a farm visit to see this nice female in person. We invite you, also, to visit our website at www.AvalonFarmAlpacas.com to check out "The Avalon Advantage"and learn more about us.
EVERY FEMALE purchased from Avalon Farm is eligible for reduced price breedings to any solely owned AFA herdsire FOR HER BREEDING LIFE, regardless of owner.
BVD negative.
