Max has grown from a cute little dark brown cria to a now black young male. He has fabulously dense, fine, crimpy fiber. The yarn produced from Max is a dream to knit or crochet with. Max is one of the "clowns" in the young male mix as he is always into mischief. He is always ready to play a game of tag or "bet ya can't get me" with the other males.
Max recently went on his first adventure off the ranch. He and his buddy, Beau, went to the grand opening of our new Tractor Supply Store to advertise alpacas. He was friendly and loved by all that met him!
The mill processing Max's fiber says: "wonderfully soft, lustrous true black yarn".
Max has been gelded and is a fiber male.
