Aussie Hill's Moonstone

Bay Black, 30649491, 7/8 Peruvian

Moonstone is a beautiful Black girl with fineness and genetics that will make anyone proud--Obsydian, Dom Timbo, Black Mesquite and Matador--and deep, rich color to die for. Her conformation, bite and legs are all great, and we are sure she will add incredible value to a breeding program looking for a very nice black girl with fineness.

At her first show in October, 2007, the Empire Extravaganza, she took 3rd place in a class of 12. The judge said it was very difficult to determine placing between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd since they were so close. She repeated with a solid 3rd place at the 2008 North American Alpaca Show, and then took a 5th at the 2008 MAPACA Jubilee, the largest alpaca show in the country!

  Rumm Runner
    Bay Black, 30623972, 3/4 Peruvian

Rumm Runner takes Color Champ in both Halter and Fleece at 2008 AOBA Nationals! Judge Mike Safley said that Runner had the finest fleece, with consistent coverage AND crimp throughout, and the highest frequency crimp.

Rumm Runner takes 1st Place at 2008 Futurity! Amanda VandenBosch said that Rumm Runner had the best density, fineness, character, and softness of hand in his class, and he has very organized fleece.

Rumm Runner takes Reserve Color Champ at 2009 MAPACA Fleece & Color Champ at 2008 MAPACA Fleece Competitions. You have to see and feel Rumm Runner's fleece to believe it! You rarely see this type of fleece on a black alpaca. It is so fine and dense and crimpy. And the judges have rewarded him with multiple banners, defeating other notable alpacas along the way.

Runner's Hot Buttered Rum continues to impress the judges! At the 2011 Royal Alpaca Challenge, Buttered Rum took a solid 2nd behind the eventual Reserve Champion in the 2+ Class. At the recent 2011 OABA Alpacafest, it came down to the judge using a ruler to measure staple length between Buttered Rum and the eventual 1st place winner! Talk about close! At the 2011 Huron County Spring Alpaca Show, Buttered Rum was the clear choice winner in his Class and went on to take Reserve Champion!

At the 2010 Heartland Classic, Judge Sharon Loner commented that Rum had the finest, brightest fleece in the class. Judge Dawn Booker awarded him 1st at the Indiana Invitational and commented "the most complete package, the finest fleece, exquisite handle, luster and brightness that pops!" And all this as the youngest alpaca in the class! In the Championship round, Buttered Rum got several repeat looks and serious consideration for Reserve Champion.

Taking 2nd behind the eventual Reserve Color Champion at the Best of the USA Show, Runner's Hot Buttered Rum caught the eye of Judge David Barboza, in a class of 14! Commenting that at first Buttered Rum's cria fleece fooled him, Judge Barboza gave glowing remarks about Buttered Rum's fleece character, density, staple length, wonderful soft hand, and luster, in addition to him exhibiting a real ring presence! And he is very friendly and easy to handle. What else can you ask for!

Sired by 10X Champion and 2008 AOBA Halter and Fleece Black Champion Rumm Runner, Runner's Hot Buttered Rum will make your heart melt when you see him. He is a Fawn male, with his sire's presence and fleece character. With exceptional genetics and proven Champions long and deep in Buttered Rum's lineage, with Black and dark colors dominating the background colors, we expect that Buttered Rum will throw color when he gets to breeding age.

We are proud to be partners with Magical Farms, Inc. on this outstanding male alpaca
