Pilar is a full chilean huacaya out of the infamous Shackelton. She is a solid producer and has produced 100% color crias. She is very dense and her cria have defined crimp. She is a solid mother with no problems in milking or nurturing. Pilar has just been bred to our white Herdsire: "Winged Dragon of Ra". We are hoping to see added fineness and a soft handle with this pairing in color.

GORGEOUS! is the best description for this herdsire. Gray Archive is a fit to type alpaca with great conformation and a great head. He has one of the softest handles of a rose grey fleece. Gray Archive's fleece has a long staple that sorts well under 20 microns. His sire Jericho 691 is a black herdsire who the Skinner's brought down from Canada and is part of the North American Alpaca Stud's. He definetly passed on his great fiber. His dam, Snowmass Golden Girl is dark fawn/Grey Hemmingway daughter out of a silver grey dam, who the Skinner's hold in their foundation females. Snowmass Gray Archive has great color genetics in his background, and is ready to pass them on to your alpaca. His first cria has arrived and it is a gorgeous Bay Black female.
