Sweet Silver Jubilee
Medium Silver Grey, 801509, Full Chilean
On August 17, 2006 Jubilee produced a beautiful bay black female cria, Avalon's Java Jive, by our multiple Get-of-Sire winner, AFA Royal Peruvian Aristocrat. As a yearling, Java was a Color Champion. See Java's separate AN listing under Alpacas for Sale.
Jubilee is a lovely grey female with a dispositon that matches her name. She is an excellent mom, trouble free birther, and a good milk producer. Her crias' IgG test results are always 2000 +!! Bred to black and rose grey she has had four true black crias, including: Black Diamond (blue ribbon winner-picture at right), a Peruvian Matador son (Sold); Avalon's Liberty Belle; Avalon's Jet Set (multiple blue ribbon winner, Reserve Color Champion, and Color Champion - SOLD); and now Avalon's Black Pearl (SOLD). With a silver dam and sire, it would be interesting to see if Jubilee would throw a silver grey cria bred to silver!
UPDATE: The wait is over. Jag's crias are here and they are fabulous!!!
True black from two true black parents, Jag carries color genetics deep with black and grey. In addition to the rich black color, his fiber has wonderful hand and architecture...a fabulous combination!
We purchased Jag to be the perfect complement to daughters coming from our three champion colored herdsires, Snowmass King Crimson, Lace's Peruvian Black Lance, and Avalon's Peruvian Granger. We've already seen the outstanding daughters coming from Crimson and Lance, so we knew we had to find a male worthy of them. We believe Jag is the answer.
Unfortunately, Jag was not shown as a juvenile. Tucked away in a back pasture of a large farm, Jag went unnoticed. Well, that has changed! Since we purchased Jag, we have been eager to get him into the showring. He "came home" in early March 2007 and, as a yearling, had his first experience with a halter and lead. Only days later he was in

Inquiry Instructions Rosealee is owned in partnership with Elden and Ronelle Harms and lives at Token Creek Alpacas. For more informaton or to schedule a farm visit in WI, call 608-215-4623.
This well grown, attractive female and brings deep color genetics from both her sire and dam. Black and grey are consistently represented in their lines and have been passed on to Rosealee. She is a well conformed, proud girl with crimpy true black fiber. She has a lovely head, nice size and balance, and a good bite.
Her dam, Jubilee, has been a problem free mom and we expect the same to be true for Rosealee. We recommend her to you as a strong future foundation female for your herd.
We have Rosealee very reasonably priced for a female with a strong black and grey heritage, making her an excellent value. She is bred to our Champion fawn herdsire, Avalon's Peruvian Triumph. Triumph brings crimp, brightness. and fineness to this match. This will be Triumph's first cria, so we look forward to this birth with great anticipation!
EVERY FEMALE purchased from Avalon Farm is eligible for reduced price breedings to any solely owned AFA herdsire FOR HER BREEDING LIFE, regardless of owner.
