January's Jewel

January's Jewel was the first cria born on our farm. She has an extremely calm disposition, great confirmation, phenominal luster, good locks & a wonderful handle. Her first cria was a male (Azure Agate) out of Sylvestre El Boliviano and he is patterned like Jewel. A picture of Agate is picture for reference. Her second cria was a chocolate colored male with 2 white socks out of a white sire. Last years cria was a beautiful chocolate brown girl out of our full Accoyo herdsire, Bolivar and has wonderful rich, silky fiber!

Jewel has great potential for producing color as her colored fiber ranges from medium brown to black and her sire was true black. She is a great mom that births easily and passes on her great disposition and beautiful fiber. Jewel is bred to our 1/2 Accoyo herdsire, Francois, for an October '09 cria. Bolivar is a well-locked, high luster, 100% Accoyo Suri herdsire with excellent conformation. He breeds easily and with excellent results! He has several cria on the ground, with one of his first female crias selling for $32,000 at the 2004 Futurity Auction. In 2006 he sired 5 females in a row & a 2005 male offspring took Color Champion at MOPACA in 2006. He is the son of Medium Fawn Accoyo Durazno/ Peruvian Uribe, recently deceased, who produced 148 consecutive Suri crias. Bolivar has also proven he can pass his color genetics on to his cria! He feels like silk and the judges like it too, as his fleece has won awards even at 5 years of age.
