Pilgrim's Violet   

Dark Fawn, 1356205, 1/2 Bolivian, 1/2 Peruvian

Violet has lots of lustrous, fine ,twisty fiber. She has excellent conformation and is a very showy girl with her upright and stately stature.

When she was born her whole face, head and upper portion of her neck was a beautiful lavender/violet/steel grey color-hence her name. This color has now expanded down her neck to her chest and lower legs. Her gums, and nails are dark grey also.

Her father is a true black Pilgrim and her grandfather is the true black Peruvian Maverick who in turn is out of Pperuvian Angel. Pilgrim has thrown five silver and/or rose grey cria in addition to Violet’s grey coloring so far so the wild card for grey is there and Violet already has a head start to reproduce it!

Violet’s first cria was a record book delivery. If only all mothers were like her. Violet’s son Winchester Lee has a beautiful conformation. We are excited to see where this little man goes.

Saviero is a gorgeous, shiny 4th generation solid true black male out of the Wilkins elite breeding program. His mother, WLK Sunburst, stamps high luster, locks and perfect conformation on her cria. Savvi's true black lineage includes Fruzane Noir, WLK Microwave and Sudden Impact. His father passed away last fall, and we lost one of the legendary black herdsires.

But let's not pass over Saviero's female lineage. Peruvian Mahogany Miss and Peruvian Ampara are amazing. And Ampara is still creating show stoppers at age 16. Her eleventh cria is WLK Namani, who just won Res Champion at the '09 Futurity!

Saviero absolutely glows. His fiber is so soft and slick, it's like putting your fingers through butter. He has high luster, well defined lock structure, correct conformation, perfect bite, a beautiful head and is easy to handle. His personality is proud and polite. He is so jet black it is hard to get good pictures of him. I have never found even one white
