| | | In 2007, white Ava produced white Frosty Frisson (gorgeous fleece!) when bred to Lonesome Stone's true black Joe Friday! So we repeated the breeding and this time the dynamic duo produced beige Sunny in 2008. (You can see him in the last picture.) He is fine, dense, crimpy, and bundled! Since Ava has already given us two crias to die for with Joe, we have also tried her this year with Whistler's Flying Dutchman (a Royal Fawn son) with a due date at the end of June.
Ava is an attentive mother with lots of milk. She's very intelligent and interested in cooperating with the farm program, making her an easily handled herd member. | |
