October Storm

White, 840191, Full Peruvian

"The 1994 importation from Peru provided the first Accoyo alpacas to the United States. Julio Barreda personally selected the males that were included. This particular shipment was of extraordinary quality. Two Accoyo males stood out; Caligula and Pluro."
From 'Machos: the (Sire's) Lineage' by Mike Safely

October Storm is a quality PURE PERUVIAN grandaughter of the famous PPeruvian Pluro. A proven producer in her prime, a fine addition - or foundation - for your herd.

Every alpacas in October Storm's pedigree come from the two best farms in the world: Accoyo and Alianza.

October Storm is mellow and easy to handle even when "in cria" or with a newborn, ideal for beginning breeders. A pretty head, elegant but substantial build, good coverage & conformation, perfect bite, good fleece density, and a good pedigree make October Storm a good buy.

'Spring' needs to be in a color breeding program! Make us an offer or will consider a trade.

According to Dr. Andy Merriwhether, 'the genetics expert', Springtide carries the gene for black - and will produce black when bred to black, or to a male that 'throws' black.

Beige is a color known for producing all the alpaca colors. Her eye rims, feet, and skin are all black. Inti is breeding for white, so come and get her!

An attractive young alpaca, well balanced, nice coverage, and a pretty head. She is a larger female and looks just like her dam. GREAT disposition, perfect for the new breeder.

Her conformation is flawless. We expect her to be a trouble free producer of quality crias year after year - just like her dam.

Sire - Raven of Lindsay is a young true black grandson of Peruvian Chocolateer. Chocolateer, along with Peruvian Fuego, El Gris, and Silver Bullet, were all nationally known and well respected sires in their day. Springtide carries the black gene from her sire, and will produce color.

Dam - October Storm is a lovely alpaca of pure Peruvian lineage. Her grandsire is the internationally admired PPeruvian Pluro. Pluro made a name for himself siring colored crias of outstanding quality - including GREY - on the west coast. The rest of October Storm's ancestors came from the herds of the Rural Alianza co-op in Peru, known as the source of the finest fiber.

October Storm is truly a 'huggable alpaca' - even when 'in cria' (pregnant), and Springtide has her mother's sweet disposition.

Here is your chance to get a lovely young female from quality bloodlines - with a lifetime of COLOR production ahead of her - at a great price!

Can be sold with a breeding to one of our males, OR a dark brown son of Black Matador - or breed her to your own male.

Limited time offer: $950. cash

Price: $1500 black in disguise
