Medium Rose Grey, 842142, Full Peruvian
|
|
| | | Misty comes from a full Peruvian background of blacks and greys. Her grandsire is Stakowski's 50/50 Signature herdsire 5Peruvian Silverado, producer of many blue ribbon offspring. Misty has great crimp and excellent conformation. She was bred to a son of Accoyo Pluro's Ross, Thunder-N-Lightning. His micron count is 20.6. Their son, Thunder Road, arrived October 29, 2005, a beautiful rose grey male with perfect conformation and crimpy fleece!
Bred to MA Peruvian Sylvan, she gave birth to a great male, Candlelight's Peruvian Ninja in October 2006; we'll be showing him this fall '07 and think that he's got what it takes to excel in the showring.
This year Misty Rose is bred to our multiple blue ribbon herdsire My Peruvian Bordeaux. We can't wait to see the results! | |

It is so hard to find a black male that has all the qualities we're looking for in our herd but we think we found them with Ninja! Ninja is a full Peruvian, fantastic looking young male. He's got the solid, square conformation we love to see with awesome coverage and a great fleece. His staple length is incredible and his fleece is very fine with good crimp.
Ninja's sire and dam are both grey. His grandsire on his sire's side and his great grandsire on his dam's side is the well known 5Peruvian Silverado so Ninja has the potential to throw grey as well.
UPDATE: Ninja placed 2nd at the 2007 Empire Alpaca Extravaganza in Syracuse, NY! This was his first show. The judge commented on Ninja's solid conformation, good proportions, and nice head style. She also said she appreciated his good fleece growth since shearing, soft handle, and brightness to his fleece!
APRIL 12, 2008 - Ninja has finally arrived and he looks great! Check him out in the pictures we took today!
JULY 2008 - Ninja's second year fleece is staying extremely fine. Check out his 2008 histogram!
Ninja started breeding right after shearing and has now settled his first females!
