| | | One of Suri Lee's many daughters, solid black Licoricia, was the highest selling suri at the 2003 AOBA National Alpaca Auction at $50,000! This Champion brown male is also a half-brother of Cantano of Peru who sold for $265,000. The genetic combination of Meteor (Suri Lee's sire) and Fuego (Suri Lee's grandsire on his dam's side) has often been a winning one, at auction and in the show ring. Suri Lee has thick, lustrous rich maroon-colored fiber with areas of rose gray, excellent coverage, and great conformation. He started settling females at just over two years of age, and his crias (16 females out of 23 crias!) have been exceptional. His other crias include brown RFSS Robert E. Lee, First Place, 2003 AOBA National Alpaca Show; brown/gray Shadowland's Four-on-the-Floor, Second Place, 2003 All American Alpaca Futurity, and Fourth Place, 2003 AOBA National Alpaca Show; and brown Sarah Lee, Second Place, 2003 AOBA National Alpaca Show, and Second Place, Southern Select 2003. | |

We dont very often get an opportunity to offer a daughter of nationally-known but deceased Suri Lee, sire of black Licoricia, the highest selling alpaca in the 2003 AOBA National Auction at $50,000. However, Sarah Lees owners, our clients Chuck and Jane Ann Jarvis, are stuck in the real estate market, trying to sell more than one residence, and they are being forced to put a hold on their alpaca dream. While they were attempting to sell their Atlanta real estate and looking for a farm in north Georgia, Chuck and Jane Ann boarded their alpacas with us, and they have authorized/requested us to sell their herd as soon as possible. As with much of this economic downturn, where one persons loss can be another persons gain, this is your opportunity to gain.
Sarah Lee has always been a terrific trouble-free female. She is a nice average size, has a very nice disposition, and is easy to handle. She is an excellent mother and milker, her crias always doing very well. She is a very typey suri, with good conformation and fiber.
Sarah Lee has been bred to four different herdsires, each breeding resulting in a very nice typey cria with very good conformation and fiber. Her brown daughter (think clone), Deborah Lee, sired by Cantano son Maserati of PVA, is also offered for sale separately or as part of a package, as is Sarahs brown award-winning son by Snowmass Lightning Locks, Iced Mocha. Sarah's 2009 dark fawn cria, sired by WRSR Peruvian Illusion, has a gorgeous fleece, with tight spiraling locks and lots of luster, and his conformation is very nice.
Chuck and Jane Ann have no herdsire to whom to breed Sarah, so she is offered open. Ridgeview Farm will include a discounted breeding to RFSS Peruvian Hershey, Godiva's Peruvian Royal Chocolatier, or any of our solely-owned herdsires, such as Peach Boy. Sarah is also offered as part of a package with Chuck and Jane Ann's other alpacas. Some financing may be available.
Awards Received Second Brown Juvenile Suri Female, 2003 AOBA National Alpaca Show, and Second Brown Juvenile Suri Female, Southern Select 2003.
