I always have to be sure that a name is "just right" before it is given. This beautiful girl looked so stunning when she born, she needed a name that said just that! After going back and forth, Chris was the one who finally gave her the perfect name (actually I think he comes up with most of the best names!)

Lady's Jewell is fondly named for her mother Lady, and for a place that is very special to our family...Jewell Island in Maine. We spent our summer on Casco Bay, and this particular island gave us some of our best summertime memories!

This little darling takes after her mother with those beautiful bedroom eyes, and the permanent smile that appears to be painted on her lips.

We hope she will follow in the footsteps of her father, Lightfoot's Kristian who has proven himself to be a worthy male, both in and out of the show ring. He is a color champion in the light fawn category and has many additional ribbons to his credit. His award winning fleece (MAPACA 20
