Nov 07: MerryMe had a curly pure white boy with no help at all! Soleado's Kachina Skye weighed in at 16lbs, and gained 6/10ths of a pound in less than 24 hours. MerryMe is a wonderful and attentive mom with loads of milk. Awesome job MerryMe!

JULY UPDATE: MerryMe made us wait, but it was worth it in the end! She had a beautiful Poseidon GIRL! Baby weighed in at 21lbs and is almost as tall as mom! Both are doing fine.

Our herd just keeps getting better and better! The great folks at Portas Nirvana Alpacas (co-owners of the legendary Poseidon) sold us this wonderful proven dam to help strengthen our breeding program. She is a white full Peruvian dam out of Snowmass Jenny Song (Hemingway and PPPeruvian Duet) and sired by Maple Brook Fandango (a Bueno son). MerryMe is a product of Sharon Loner's Mile High Alpacas breeding program. She has delivered three robust Poseidon cria, and is due in Nov with a PNA Poseidon's Isaac baby.

If you have seen Isaac in person then you know ~ he is one of the most complete and impressive alpacas in the American herd. Isaac combines the supreme genetics of Caligula’s Poseidon and Dom Lucilio and he quickly began to make a name for Himself ~ winning eight blue ribbons, a Reserve Color Championship, and seven Color Championships; including the 2005 All American Alpaca Futurity. He combines a dramatically dense, uniform fleece, and an unmatched staple length with spectacular crimp and perfect conformation.
