We were so excited to purchase this spectacular Presidio girl with incredible fleece and a stellar pedigree. Her mom, Xanadu P. La Boheme, is a fawn Accoyo Legacy girl whose grandsire is Accoyo Victor. Boheme took reserve fawn champion at both the AAA Futurity and AOBA as just a juvenile.
Aria's full brother is Xanadu P. Caruso, a 2x champion and 10x blue-ribbon winning fawn male. Watching Caruso grow up, we knew that his full sister couldn't help but be perfection.
PCA Hemingway-Accoyo Nautilus
White, 820500, Peruvian
Nautilus combines one of the finest crimped fleeces with the density of the Accoyo line. He is a cross of Peruvian Hemingway and Accoyo Sicuani--a white dam that has been the winner of many fleece shows. His show record includes:
Huacaya Male Supreme Champion: 2003 International Alpaca Odyssey, Del Mar Reserve Huacaya Male White Color Champion: 2003 AWE Show White Huacaya Male Color Champion: 2002 AOBA National Show
This is the girl who will be headlining our show string in 2010.
Thisbe is a genetic powerhouse with Caligula/Presidio, Legacy, Victor, and Hemingway in her background. The proud result of crossing our 3x RCC Presidio daughter with the premier Hemingway son, Nautilus, from Pacific Crest, we are amazed at the fiber qualities that Thisbe is evidencing right from day one: fineness, extreme density, and knotted fiber with microstaples that part cleanly to the skin. A whopping 20 lbs. at birth, Thisbe is everything we hoped for from the match.
