Harrah

White, 815695, 1/4 Bolivian, 3/4 Peruvian

Imagine our excitement in being able to add a direct Hemingway daughter to our herd! And this one has a proven track record. Harrah's daughter from 2006, Hannah, is a gorgeous beige female who took 1st juvi beige and reserve light color champ at 2007 EPWM 3 days past 6 mo B-Day!!!

Harrah has wonderful dense crimpy fiber and is structurally sound. Her fleece stats are excellent. She produces gorgeous cria and is a great mother. This year she had a nice little male, Clark by Magnum. We have bred her back to him for her 2010 cria. After all, the 2007 Fawn Reserve Champion Fawn Fleece at the AOBA Fleece Show was a Magnum son out of a Hemingway dam. Nice combo.

  SCA Peruvian Magnum
    Light Fawn, 830801, Full Peruvian

5-time AOBA Blue Ribbon winner & AOBA Champion, SCA Peruvian Magnum, is one awesome macho. He has performed well in the showring, and with his offspring. With only 14 offspring on the ground, he has won a Get of Sire title, and he already has a son & a daughter who are also AOBA Champions! His cria range from white to true black.

Magnum is the son of "Dam of the Century" Misty Maiden, whose fiber stats at age 14 were AFD 20.3 SD 3.7 CV 18.2 %>30 1.8! Misty Maiden's descendants have won at least 60 championships. He is sired by Peruvian Camelot.

Magnum's skin follicles were tested at age 5. The results from Dr. Evans stated, "Magnum is definitely in the top 1% of males that I have tested. His density is 78.75 follicles per Sq MM of skin and 5 very symmetrical fiber bundles show an S/P OF 14.6 TO 1. The 15X scan as well as the S/P scan shows super bundle structure and the 250X scan demonstrates awesome gland presence. This guy appears to be the whole package." In the

What a dense, ultra fine fleece Clark carries! His fiber has a long staple with defined crimp, and there's a lot of it. He doesn't have the presence that a herdsire requires, but he will make a wonderful fiber alpaca or companion animal.

His genetics are wonderful with Hemingway as his grandsire and Magnum as his sire. Clark has genetics for lingering fineness. His sire, Magnum's, fiber has remained royal baby fine, and his granddam's has stayed even finer than that. Magnum won the prestigious "Spirit of the Fiber Industry" Award in 2007. If producing high-end fiber is a priority, this fiber male is worth your consideration.
