We selected Bonita to add to our herd because she is an alpaca with elite fleece, strong conformation, and the manageability we all desire in our animals. Bonita’s fiber is bright, with excellent staple length, well defined, uniform character and carries with it a wonderful soft hand and above average density. She is a large framed gal who halters & handles with ease, has a sweet, calm, friendly, and curious nature, even as a pregnant female!
Her fineness is outstanding at AFD 16.6 microns, and most importantly she carries the genetics to hold that fineness for many years. She is both a Victor and El Moustachio granddaughter and her dam is an outstanding production girl holding a consistent 22-23 micron count at age ten with numerous cria. Bonita’s granddame, holds steady at 24 microns at age 12+. We are confident Bonita has no intention of being outdone by her ancestors. Bonita's fleece placed 2nd at the Mid-America Alpaca Show, judged by Kevin O'Leary in October.

Artemisia was well worth the wait. We are pleased to introduce the second daughter of one of our farm mega producers, Bonita. When Misia arrived, we were counting our lucky stars.
Misia is very compact, correct and independent. She is very much a "girly girl" in our opinion. She is very erect and graceful in her appearance. Misia is exhibiting some beautiful bright, incredibly fine, dense and crimpy fleece. We are hopeful she will grow up to be just like her Color Champion sister Pangaea and her award winning brother Wate. She should, coming from Bonita and Hobby Horse Farm the Lone Ranger, an award winning Winchester son passing on elite white fleece.
This girl is filling in nicely, has good balance and proportion, and sheared a very nice fleece for being a fall cria. She is an all around pleasure to have around. Super sweet disposition and a very "smiley" face -she always looks like she is smiling. And - she loves to take a moment to say hello and give a kiss!
