Medium Brown, 806456, Full Peruvian

Gianna is a gorgeous, dense Peruvian import with beautiful soft fleece. Even at her older age, her fleece still exhibits nice crimp. Gianna is an excellent mom and has produced champion offspring including blue ribbon winners, reserve champions and even the grand champion at the Ontario Alpaca Show in 2003. Her cria have ranged in color from light brown to true black to grey. She is a proven producer of excellent cria with outstanding fiber including her 2006 cria, a gorgeous dark brown crimpy-beyond-belief little girl, Peruvian Ivy. Gianna has been bred to our beige full Accoyo 8X champion, Invasion, for a June 2009 cria. We're hoping for dark; but with these two for parents, we're banking on crimpy, soft and dense.

UPDATE - Gianna's daughter, Ivy, just took Reserve Color Champion for her fleece at The New England Coastal Classic!

Her youngest daughter, Peruvian Samantha, a rose-grey girl out of The Scotsman is a multiple blue ribbon winner.

  SA Avenger's Accoyo Invasion
    Beige, 1390230, Full Peruvian

With 8 championships & 16 blue ribbons, Invasion is one of the top full Accoyo colored herdsires in the country. With his 2008 set of Ideuma Creek cria entering shows for the first time, it has become clear that Invasion is passing on his elite fleece characteristics to his offspring. Invasion is adding outstanding crimp, color, density, brightness & well respected lineage to his cria.

As evident from his own show record, judges around the country agree that Invasion is an elite alpaca. Now statistics from his recent skin biopsy test support his caliber of fleece. In addition his first Ideuma Creek cria are doing outstanding in fleece shows. Using all of the tools available, Invasion keeps proving time & time again that he is a superior herdsire.

If you're looking to add density, consider Invasion's skin biopsy report done by Ian Watt:

UPDATE - Ros's histogram just came in - check out her IMPRESSIVE numbers!

Roslyn is a full Peruvian, half Accoyo out of one of the best ribboned colored full Accoyos on the East Coast. She's worth taking a look at! At her very first fleece show, the AFCNA - a level 4 show - she took a blue ribbon in dark fawn, a color championship & the best brightness award out of more than 350 fleeces! She is now a 2X Champion.

Ros comes from exceptional lineage. Her dam is Peruvian Gianna, a '98 import who has given us three female cria (including Ros) since she has been on our farm. Her rose-grey daughter, Ivy, is a reserve color champion, & her rose-grey daughter, Samantha is a multiple blue ribbon winner. Ros's fleece is incredibly crimpy and soft, and she's got one heck of a nice look to her - very typey with that fiber filled face Invasion has become famous for.

Ros's sire is our own 8X champion, 16X blue ribbon winning herd sire, SA Accoyo Invasion. Invasion's first cria have taken home multiple championships and blues in halter & fleece. In addition to these awards, Ros's paternal siblings have taken the very coveted fleece awards of best brightness & best crimp & Judge's Choice.

After seeing what she could produce with him, we rebred Roslyn to our 5x Blue Ribbon boy, Accoyo Stratopshere. Stratosphere's cria have won 35 championships and 68 blue ribbons in just 3 years of cria in the show ring. Her 2012 cria, a dark rose-grey girl, already has beautiful crimp and outstanding density~!
