Midnight Sun was purchased at the 2005 Parade of Champions auction by Chase Tavern Farm. They saw her at AOBA 2005 and were "smitten". She was bred to Evander twice and produced an outstanding male cria in October 2007 and an equally beautiful female cria in November 2008. Well mannered (although I have discovered that she is a very good jumper of 4ft fences) and with solid boned & large frame, Midnight Sun has a very dense fleece with good consistency to crimp and staple.
After a ridiculously long pregnancy of 366 days, Midnight delivered a dark brown, perfectly conformed 19.2 lb male in July 2010. Strong and healthy, he sold as a 7 month old. Midnight was kept open for a bit, then bred in early January 2011 to my Evander son, Prime Time, for a late 2011 cria. Midnight delivered a curly fibered beige male cria on 12/19/11. This little boy sold easily as a 6 month old.
Rebreeding was scheduled for fall 2012, and she is now behaving positively for a successful pregnancy.
