IAOC Bosox

Light Rose Grey, 30419001, 1/2 Bolivian, 1/2 Chilean

After learning more about color genetics we now recognize that Bosox is really a light rose grey and not a fawn as she is registered. We were originally drawn to her by here presences, conformation, and her amazing fiber when we bought her. She has a lot of grey and black in her lineage and was bred to Panasche last year. The result was hands down the best fibered cria of the year.

Update: Bosox had an amazing bay black female cria sired by Principae and she went right into our keeper herd! We did breed Bosox back the same way and you can have her next awesome cria!

We have bred Bosox back to Principae for a 8/09 cria and we are anxiously waiting to see what we will get. She gave us a wonderful white female cria out of Dakota that we plan to keep the cria in our keeper herd in 2007 and an outstanding male in 2008. Bosox was a wonderful mother and had ample milk to support her crias. Bosox sells with a live birth guarantee and a free breeding to any stud fully owned by

  CCR’S Principae Gris
Medium Silver Grey, 30878976, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

We are proud to add this wonderful new stud to our group of quality herdsires. It is wonderful to see a grey stud that has a lot of crimp and is as soft as butter. It is also great to see this kind of frame on a grey stud. Principae has great proportions and we are eagerly waiting for him to start breeding in spring.

If you are interested in bloodlines, this guy is a McGwire son. McGwire is a full Accoyo rose grey male sired by the great Victor. On his dam side he has three generations of grey.

Principae has already done well in the show ring as well. He has won a Color Champion as a juvenile as well as a couple of blue ribbons.

We are sure that this guy is going to sire a lot of high quality grey offspring so call now to schedule a breeding this spring.

We recently had Principae biopsied through Alpaca Consulting USA and we were very pleased with the results:

Follicular density of 49.7
In Skin AFD of 19.35
S/P Ratio of 9:1

KV N'Tice

By far N’Tice is the nicest black female we put on the ground in 2009 and the best since KV Wasabi back in 2007. We will confess she wasn’t what we were looking for when we made the breeding decision. Her sire is our half Accoyo Champion silver grey male Principae and her dam is a blue ribbon winning rose grey Bosox. We thought we had a pretty good shot at getting a knock out grey. Ends up we got a knock out bay black; life is full of disappointments ;-)

N’Tice has a very fine fleece and a high frequency crimp style that is so difficult to breed into a black. We really appreciate how her fleece opens cleanly and her appearance of great density. Her sire has been biopsied through Alpaca Consulting USA and his follicular density for a grey are outstanding, so it wasn’t a big surprise that N’Tice appears to be very dense too. If we can hold onto her until she is old enough to be biopsied we will biopsy her.

We are planning on showing N’Tice a lot this Spring so if you happen to be at any shows in the Midwest, stop and see her…. You will be glad you did.

Price: $5000
