My Peruvian ADRASTEA

Beige, 836722, Full Peruvian

Adrastea’s fleece (2008 AFD=15.8, SD=3.5, CV=22, %>30=0.6) won a special award for Best Brightness at MaPaca and she won a Blue Ribbon and Reserve Championship in halter at the 2003 OABA show. She has excellent conformation and a beautiful, soft fleece with lots of character. Her 2006 total fleece weight was an incredible 13.5# (and she was pregnant during most of that growth!).

Her grandsire is P. Emilio, a fabulous male with a dense, Accoyo-like crimpy fleece. Her dam is P. Accent, the daughter of Accoyo Peruvian Leon, the darkest Accoyo male in North America.

Although, she is technically beige, Adrastea has gray on her face. Her top knot presents as beige, however, when parted, is gray underneath & all her pigmentation is dark!

Her first cria, Gun Smoke, is a dark rose grey son of the multiple award-winning, black Peruvian Dakotia son, MFI Pistol who sold in '06 for $230,000. Smoke ribboned at both of the 2 huge shows

    True Black, 1091861, 1/8 Chilean, 7/8 Peruvian

TRUE BLACK. NO WHITE ... ANYWHERE !!!

AND, HIS FIRST CRIA HAVE HIT THE GROUND RUNNING !!!

SO FAR, Commander has produced black, silver grey & rose grey! His color production appears to be as successful as that of his renown sire, Navigator.

This gentle and stately (solid) true black male out of our multiple Color Champion gray herdsire, Navigator, is a real show stopper. Commander's grandparents, on both sides, have exceptional genetics AND lots of color. Commander's dam, PH Felix's Chocolat, has once again given us a blue ribbon winner. Commander's extremely soft, bright fleece exhibits very bold crimp similar to his dam and his half sister.

After much pre-show attention, we were very proud that Commander earned a Blue Ribbon, along with a Reserve Championship, in his first show ring appearance at the 2005 SEPA Alpaca Show. Following his debut, Commander then stood tall once again four weeks later and took a

Meadow's Sire, Commander: This gentle and stately (solid) true black male out of our multiple Color Champion gray herdsire, Navigator, is a real show stopper. Commander's grandparents, on both sides, have exceptional genetics AND lots of color. Commander's color consistentency, genetics & tally of Championships & Blues make him one of the country's most notable black sires.

Meadow's dam, Adrastea: Adrastea’s fleece (2008 AFD=15.8, SD=3.5, CV=22, %>30=0.6) won a special award for Best Brightness at MaPaca and she won a Blue Ribbon and Reserve Championship in halter at the 2003 OABA show.
