Bandit is an excellent proven silver grey male whose fine, crimpy fleece forms distinct bundles. He has good coverage with crimp extending all the way to his toes! He's got a beautiful and distinctive head that he passes on to his offspring. Bandit started breeding at two years of age and his first crop of stunning crias hit the ground in 2004. Three of his offspring are greys produced by fawn females and they are winners! At the Great Western Alpaca Show in Denver, his son, Bisturi, placed first in his halter class and was Reserve Grey Color Champion in both 2005 and 2006. His daughter, PFF Bandit's Calico Rose, won 4th place in her class of 13 juvenile female silver greys. At the 2007 MidAmerica Alpaca show, Bandit had the second place Get of Sire while daughter PFF Calamity Jane and son Bisturi took top awards in the fleece show. His true black granddaughter, PFF Omarosa, began her show career in 2008 with two blue ribbons plus a color championship at the Minnesota Alpaca Expo
Pirouette’s grandsire is Acero Marka’s Wooly Bully, the Bolivian import who is well-known for his impressive presence and total fiber coverage. With Wooly Bully, Peruvians Drambuie and Olympus and a grey sire in her pedigree, who knows what color offspring, Pirouette can produce. Her white half-sister, Noemi’s Noel sired by Xanadu Peruvian Jazz, who is also white, produced a ribbon-wining silver grey son, by multi-champion grey, Bisturi.
Pirouette’s histogram at 6 months of age documents her fine fiber with low SD and CV. Her full sister, Sabra, produced a 6- pound low micron fleece with a low SD and CV at her second shearing and we expect Pirouette to follow in her footsteps.
Pirouette gave birth on 5/19/2011 to her first cria; an EXCEPTIONAL male. This little guy has outstanding fiber and a presence you can't miss. We are truly looking forward to watching this little guy mature!
