Absolutely stunning female with GREAT conformation, perfect head, heavy coverage, incredible presence ~ we are thrilled! Her sire is HotSpot, our jet black stud now making his home in Arizona, and her dam is one of our best producers. Katrina has shades of brown throughout her fleece with darker legs and muzzle. She is named after the hurricane, coming into the world with a vengance and twice as disruptive. Her nickname is "PITA" ~ given to her by our vet techs! If there was trouble to be found, you could bank on the fact Katrina was right in the middle of it. Katrina was bred to multiple color champion Peruvian Salute and gave us a stud/show quality male, Columbine Ranch Noah. Noah has the typey head with heavy coverage and architecture to his fleece the judges love to see in the show ring. Her 2009 cria, sired by blue ribbon winner Lando of the Shire to bring out the black in her background, arrived minutes before our open barn day July 5th. Roswell sells at her side.

When we received Lando's fleece ~ well, Kim just couldn't put it down. (She's worked a lot of fleece shows and knows what she likes!) Amy Bliss-Miller had wonderful comments on it as well at the ABR Diamond Jubilee Fall Festival!
