High Plains Cinema

White, 20000660, Peruvian

Cinema has given us beautiful, healthy, vigorous crias. Her crias have high IgG's and she produces abundant milk.

Cinema's sire is the well known Canadian herdsire HFL Super Sam.

  The Casanova Kid
    Dark Brown, 30325241, Full Peruvian

The "Kid" has beautiful soft, dark brown fiber displaying excellent crimp and bundling. He is the product of two champion parents. His sire is Snowmass Peruvian Casanova who was awarded the 2003 AAA Futurity Herdsire of the Year. The Kid's dam is 6978 Peruvian Kelsey who, along with several other awards, received a First Place at the 2002 AOBA National Halter Show. The Kid has great conformation and balance with graceful movement. We are excited about what his future breeding career holds for him.

The Kid passes on a very bright fiber to his off-spring. Logan in particular is showing a very silky, fine fiber that falls into drapey locks that glisten as he moves. He is a solid medium brown with dark points.

The brightness of Logan's fiber is evident even from a distance. His fine rich medium brown fiber falls into drapey, long, bundled staples with a broad, bold crimp. Logan has consistent color with dark points. His fiber coverage is excellent. Along with his beautiful fiber he has that presence and conformation which make everyone take notice.

Logan has strong and respected genetics from both his dam and his sire. His paternal grandsire is Snowmass Peruvian Casanova. Logan's maternal grandsire is Super Sam, an elite Canadian herdsire. His purchase will definitely be an investment in the future of your herd.

Logan was awarded a 1st place in his first showing in a Level IV halter show at the 2010 Minnesota Alpaca Expo. At just under 6.5 months and the youngest in his halter class, his fiber was described as being consistent throughout and mature beyond his age. He also received a blue and a Reserve Color Championship in a Level II fleece show before he was 7.5 months old. We have every confidence in his ability to pass forward to his off-spring superior fiber and conformation along with his non-aggressive personality. We really appreciate this young male but our barns are full and we must make room.

Logan has settled several females during this past 2012 Summer. We are most anxious to see his first crias in Summer of 2013.

UPDATE: 7/8/13. Logan and Dorianne are new parents today. Dori gave birth to a healthy, vigorous female. It appears she's going to be beige / light fawn. She's a pretty shade of champagne. 7/10/13. Josie and Logan have a beautiful brown male as of this morning.
