Macazayna has done her job of producing top quality black and grey cria for the past 5 years. She has produced LSG twice, TB once and BB twice. All of her cria have fiber that holds a low micron count This is the type of fiber producer everyone is looking for. Mac is a GREAT mother. She gives birth unassisted and takes charge of her cria from the first moment! She will allow you to touch, but not too much. She also is an easy breeder and loves life as a pregnant alpaca. She holds her pregnancies well and does not over-eat or become excessively fat even when given free choice food! Mac is also very friendly and will greet you everyday!
****NEWS FLASH!!!***** We have confirmed Ariel's first 3 pregnancies, so obviously, he's good to go :) *************************
This big boy came out at 26 ½ lbs and has continued to amaze us with his stature and size ever since! Today he is 3 1/2 years old and weighs 237 lbs without body scoring any fat whatsoever. He is just big, tall, and regal. Grandson of Peruvian Presidio and great-grandson of PPeruvian Caligula, he displays all of the traits which have made this line so famous. Look at his fleece picture--deep amplitude crimp, incomparable brightness, and density. His staple length now, just before shearing, is 6" and he is magnificent! And all of this in a true black--a non-fading and extra brilliant true black at that! When we say that Ariel shines, that is literally the truth! Black Iris (Presidio g-daughter)
Listed at $2999 by Kim Rassi & of Brooklyn Heights, OH
This is Black Iris, she is a true black beauty! You can't get any blacker than this! Non fading and no brown cria tips either! Just plain black from top to bottom. Iris has knock out fleece, crimpy and oh so soft... density... yes, she has it all. You can show her and expect to be in the ribbons in her class if not at the top of the class! Take my word, I have sold many champion blacks. This one is not to be missed. I have 3 black yearlings to sell right now, so check them all out! All 3 of them are good quality show girls, not one of them is a production female. Crimp in black is hard to get, but Iris has it! High amplitude, medium frequency, beautiful shine and super soft. Typical production out of Macazayna, she makes some of the best fleeced crias on the farm. Her sire is the spectacular son of Round Midnight out of Presidio, Crias del Cielo's Arielle. He is a true black bruiser! Lovely fleece, lovely conformation.
