It just does not get much better than this! Meet Lucian, the newest addition to our herdsire line-up. Lucian's pedigree includes P. Accoyo Augusto (his sire) and P. Accoyo Legacy (his grandsire) - two of the all time greats.
Lucian had a fantastic show career, placing first or second in every show he was entered in. But the proof of a great herdsire is his offspring, and Lucian continues to amaze us. His offspring are winning in the show ring now, and we can tell you that some of the best crias ever produced on our ranch are Lucian's. He puts a stamp on his offspring - including outstanding fiber and strong conformation- even from lower quality dams. If you need to breed up fast, consider using Lucian.
From Augusto and Legacy to Don Julio and Snowmaster, this girl's pedigree does not leave anything to chance. And just look at the result! We purchased her dam from Snowmass, to help us improve our fleeces, and boy, has she done that. Swingtime is a prime example. Swingtime's sire is our wonderful stud, HRAZ Lucian, who always packs his crias with outstanding fiber.
Swingtime is a good sized girl with a sweet personality. Her fiber is her glory - a strong, frequent, even crimp from skin to tip, very nice staple length, and fine, fine, fine! Get your hands on her and see what we mean! Her average fiber diameter in 2010 was 18.1 microns.
Swingtime's first baby was a male, Cloud Dancer's August Moonwalk. He is an outstanding light fawn male. He took 6th place in a huge, very competitive class at the 2012 Great Western under Jude Anderson.
We will gladly rebreed Swingtime for you to one of our herdsires before she leaves our ranch. She sells with full reproductive warranties, and we can offer payments with half down and the balance over 1 year.
