| | | Eden is a large and healthy female alpaca from our original line of females. She has excellent fiber coverage which is the solid color of a rich medium-reddish brown, and her crimp and density work throughout her body. Eden comes from the Pperuvian Camilio line on her sire's side and the Peruvian Don Claro line on her dam's side. She will provide many years of cria production for the lucky farm that purchases her. She will be sold as a bred female, with her next cria due in 2010. This cria will have Neruda bloodlines to bring to your farm. Eden's dam is from a line of attentive moms with great milk production. Her first cria birth in July 2009 was a textbook event: water break at noon, cria on the ground 30 minutes later, no complications. Please contact us for a chance to visit with this beautiful young female. Terms available. | |

| | | David Shines is a rich caramel colored male with all the fineness you would expect from Hemingway and Felix on the same pedigree. When you need to improve the fineness of your herd, turn to David Shines!
David's fiber analysis shows that he really is holding his fineness with age, at 5 yrs his AFD was 22.7, with a CV of 18.6! David's progeny have all received rave reviews from their owners, some have gone on to do repeat breedings, one has matched the same female with David for 5 years in a row! David consistently throws cria that are as much as 10 microns lower than the dam when tested at 11+ months of age, and the SD's are impressive with several below 3. He is allowing color from the dam (and several times throwing darker than the dam) to come through while improving the character and fineness of the fiber. | |
