Astoria is a captivating young female who has consistently won the top awards every time in the show ring! Her most recent and outstanding accomplishments coming at the most prestigious shows of the year, The Futurity and the AOBA National where she garnered 1st place in both shows and Reserve Color Champion as well. Astoria was the youngest in her class at AOBA and the judge, Amanda VandenBosch said of her,"She is the clear class winner, she has an abundance of fiber, brilliant luster, great organization and solidity of lock to the fleece." Twice in her young show career she was up for Champion of Champions, as a juvenile, and it was given to the alpaca in the older division. This gorgeous lady has already stood at the top as a juvenile, get ready for next season!
In her first showing at 7 mos old she won her class and Color Championship. Her second time out she was Reserve Color Champion. Her third time she was 1st in her class (22 white juveniles) and Color Champion. The Judge, Wade Gease, said of Astoria that "she has wonderful density with very fine fiber and luster that just pops out at you. Her coverage and uniformity of lock are excellent with great conformation and that wonderful suri type head. She is the complete package." Add to that a beguiling personality and you have Astoria. Although she is light in color, her deep color genetics indicate that she can produce dark color.
As well as her gorgeous phenotype, Astoria has a family tree 2nd to none. Her dam, WLK Synergy's Dazzle is a Macgyver granddaughter, Bruxo greatgranddaughter. Her sire, DDF Double Dutch's American Spirit is by Accoyo Crown Royale. These notable genetics created this beautiful multiple Grand Champion... ASTORIA.This young star has it all!
