| | | This little beauty is the first cria born on our farm. Briar is a splendid little girl who has attitude to back up the beauty. We registered her as a bay black, but upon first shearing in May 07, she is just BLACK! What a shine-she just shimmers! Her fiber is the longest on the farm, with a low micron, just not much crimp. We have bred to a male with great crimp to improve that factor but absolutely nothing could improve how her fiber feels--it is as soft as honey! She does a good job taking care of herself and is completely undaunted by the older girls and shy, she is not! Briar is a Bueno granddaughter. This girl has it all--conformation, fiber, attitude, and a beautiful head to boot! Briar Rose had a bouncing baby GIRL on 10-3-08! Easy birth and great mother!
NEWSFLASH....After our uterine torsion scare in Jan., Briar Rose delivered a healthy male cria on Mar. 7, 2010. Completely unassisted and perfect! I think Dr. Tanco at Cornell made her read the book on how i | |

| | | My Accoyo Doc Holiday is a FAWN full accoyo son of NWA LTD Accoyo Goldsmith, and a grandson of the incomparable Peruvian Felix. We purchased Doc with Mobee Mountain Alpacas in June of 07 when we went looking for a full accoyo herdsire to build our breeding program around. He has great conformation and a typical typey head, which is just beautiful. Doc has gorgeous fiber with out of this world crimp. He is also dense--how dense? He sheared over 9 lbs of fiber at a body weight of 122 lbs in 2008, and followed that up with 12 lbs at a body weight of 145lbs in 2009! Doc began breeding at 19 months, and was bred to 6 girls in 2008, unfortunately two of the girls became sick during the spring and one slipped over the winter. Now, two of the girls have delivered and all we can say is WOW!! Two fawn girls and one who has the most ringlets we have seen on a cria. What a great start! This year Doc has been a busy man and has numerous girls spitting off, including 9 on our fa | |

Ahhh the Tankman, what a guy! Last year we were looking for black girls to breed to our full Accoyo Jr. Sire My Accoyo Doc Holiday. Well Ms. Briar Rose is a very nice black girl right here on our farm, in fact she is the first alpaca born on the farm. Match made in heaven so we bred them and Briar caught first time up. Great birth, in under 30 minutes, then much to our surprise the little guy was walking in 15 minutes and nursing in 45. Since that day, Tank has proven to be the most active and trouble-prone cria we have ever had. He riles up the other little boys and is a real speed demon when he gets them running circles. His fiber is really fine and now after being shorn is coming in very dense and crimpy. He looks like a little white bear!! Needless to say we are very excited for this little guy, Doc's first baby on our farm out of the first alpaca born here....this guy is special and he seems to have figured that out. He is growing well...tall and great conformation and fiber and has a nice personality to boot! We can make you a great deal on this young guy!
